LURANYL®KR-blends based on polyphenyl ether (PPE) and impact-resistant polystyrene (PS-I):
Alongside standard types for injection and extrusion moulding applications, our LURANYL®KR range also includes specialist products developed to meet the stringent requirements of individual customers. LURANYL®KR is characterised by its exceptional thermal deformation resistance and hot water resistance with low water absorption, high impact strength, dimensional stability and a low density. The principal areas of application for LURANYL®KR include the water treatment, electronics and automotive sectors, as well as frequently-sterilised plastic instruments in medicine.
LURANYL®KR has KTW, ACS and WRAS certification.
LURANYL®HT-blends based on polyphenyl ether (PPE) and polyamide (PA):
LURANYL®HT has Vicat softening point temperature of up to 240°C, so powder coating at 200°C is no problem. Heat resistant level is comparable to PSU and PES but chemical resistance is much better.
Thanks to our long experience, the technical expertise of our employees and our ultra-modern production facilities, we are able to achieve a consistently high level of product quality that forms a solid foundation for the reliable downstream processing of our products at the customer.
